A proposal for a coherent ontology of fundamental entities.

When dealing with the philosophical implications of fundamental theories of Physics, special care must be taken with the distinction between principle/framework, as opposed to constructive/interaction theories. In this work, we claim that ontological conclusions concerning entities can only be consistently derived from the latter kind of theories. This naturally leads to a discussion about the reality of fundamental particles, as opposed to that of the diverse associated quantum fields.
