Research, Outreach, and Education Systems: the HPS Repository, Embryo Project, and MBL History Project

HPSRepository.asu.edu is a DSpace repository for digital history and philosophy of science work, which utilizes Creative Commons licensing, and allows federation with other repositories. The HPS Repository enables development, sustainability, and broader impacts of digital projects in HPS. We describe two projects that draw on the HPS Repository: the Embryo Project Encyclopedia (embryo.asu.edu) and the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) History Project (history.archives.asu.edu); both of which provide a place for exploration of philosophical and historical interpretations in the context of supporting documents and with the capacity to link to open data in our repository and other places.
