Tenure-Track Faculty Position, University of Texas at El Paso

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), College of Liberal Arts invites nominations and applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Philosophy. The anticipated appointment date is fall 2012. Area of specialization: Philosophy of Science. Area of competency: Some area in the history of philosophy, ethics, or Latin American philosophy. Applicants must be committed to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department is building research capacity and seeks scholars who demonstrate potential for publication and external funding. The department offers a BA and MA in Philosophy.
